1. Who we are

LARAI (Luxury Abayas) operates the gift voucher website at vouchers.larailuxury.com (“the Site”). We are based in Ngleshie Amanfro, Accra, Ghana. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the Site.

2. Information we collect

When you request a gift voucher, we collect:

• Your name— printed on the voucher image as the sender (“From” name).
• WhatsApp number — used as a security check when unlocking the voucher image.
• Recipient name (optional) — shown in our records and may appear in the default share message.
• Personal message (optional) — included in WhatsApp share text if provided.
• Voucher amount — the face value you select (what the recipient can spend).

We do not collect payment card or mobile-money details on the Site. Payments are processed by Paystack — card or mobile money. Paystack handles your payment information under their own privacy policy. The amount you choose is the voucher value — what the recipient can spend. A processing fee is added at checkout to cover Paystack payment costs (currently 1.95% for local card and mobile money in Ghana). The full total is shown before you pay.

3. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Process and activate your voucher request
• Confirm payment through Paystack and unlock your voucher
• Generate and deliver your personalized voucher image
• Verify identity when the voucher is unlocked via the claim link
• Record redemptions when the voucher is used on WhatsApp or in our Ngleshie Amanfro shop
• Respond to your enquiries or resolve disputes

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. How we store and protect data

Voucher records are stored securely in our database, hosted on infrastructure with industry-standard protections. Voucher codes are encrypted at rest. Access to customer data is limited to authorized LARAI staff who need it to operate the voucher service.

5. How long we keep data

We retain voucher records for as long as needed to honour redemptions, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Expired or fully redeemed vouchers may be kept in our records for accounting and audit purposes.

6. Sharing with third parties

We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Site — such as hosting providers and Paystack, our payment processor — bound by confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

When you use the “Share on WhatsApp” feature, your message is handled by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy policy. We do not control how they process that data.

7. Cookies and analytics

The public voucher Site uses minimal cookies — primarily a session cookie for our internal admin dashboard, which is hosted separately and not accessible from the public shop. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on the purchaser-facing Site.

We use PostHog, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how visitors use the shop (for example, which pages are viewed and whether the buy flow completes). PostHog may use cookies or local storage for this purpose. Inputs such as WhatsApp numbers are masked in session recordings. We do not sell your data. You can read more in PostHog's privacy policy.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by us, subject to legal and operational requirements (for example, we may need to retain voucher records for accounting). To make a request, email laaraifashion0@gmail.com.

9. Children

Our voucher service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
